A NOTE FROM THE THREE STAGS

We are now of course closed following responsible guidelines from the government.

Whilst we are closed we are trying to provide extra work for some of the team and have a small menu and pizzas available to order on Uber Eats, Deliveroo and Just Eat.

We are also still able to offer 2 or 4 pint containers of draught beer, real ale, cider and of course wines and bottled beers as well as soft drinks, mostly at reduced prices.

Join our sourdough neighbourhood baking club! Whilst we are closed Clarissa is perfecting her sourdough baking. We have a two and a half year old sourdough starter that we are ‘feeding’ daily, therefore we have plenty to give out free if you can come and collect it. Several of our neighbours are using it to bake delicious products already and posting them on facebook.

Don’t forget we are the ‘local’ for many of you and so being a part of the community and helping out in any way we can is more important than ever. We hope you all stay safe and cope with the isolation and manage to look after yourselves, don’t hesitate to get in touch at the pub if you need me to look in on anyone or need any help in any way.

We use the best British seasonal local ingredients to produce a tempting menu of pub classics with a contemporary twist - our Head Chef and amazing kitchen team are passionate about creating mouth-watering dishes, so whether you are looking for a lunch after exploring the London Imperial War Museum or local attractions, or just a cozy meal in the evening - we have created a unique menu that changes daily and caters for all your tastes.

As we welcome the warmer months we are gearing up to tempt you with some amazing new dishes using all your seasonal favourites. We also have our very own authentic wood fired pizza oven with pizzas made daily using the finest grade flour to create fresh dough that is hand-stretched and fired to order. The pizzas are a must try!

Along with our passion for amazing food comes the pure indulgence for real ales, fine wines, craft beers, premium spirits and cocktails. The Three Stags is a real warm pub with a chilled atmosphere.


A discretionary service charge of 12.5% will be added to bills with 5 or more guests.
Please ask staff for details on allergens. All our food is prepared fresh in our kitchen using sustainability sourced ingredients.
All tips and service charge go directly to staff.

About Us

The Three Stags public house and restaurant is situated opposite the London Imperial War Museum, just a stone’s throw from Waterloo Station.

This popular South London gastropub is steeped in history and stays true to its roots, maintaining its English heritage. This keeps tourists and loyal locals flooding through the doors all year round.

Inside there are still plenty of traditional original features, with a mix of punk art thrown in for good measure. Committed to reducing our environmental impact; at The Three Stags we recycle all of our daily waste including our food waste which is composted. We also have our very own beehives on the roof that produce the best local urban honey around!
